Jesus said, “When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere.” (Acts 1:8)
Have you ever wanted a way to share the good news of the gospel with friends and neighbours who would not read a Bible or come to church? Try “Can I tell you a Bible story?”! In three days at this course at Mansfield, Brisbane, you will learn how to craft, tell and teach Bible stories that are simple, accurate and memorable, and find easy ways to build them into daily conversations.
The workshop is suitable for anyone from about 12 years old upwards, and will prove beneficial for family devotions, home groups, youth and children’s ministry, preaching, local and overseas gospel outreach – but most importantly, will give you skills, confidence and motivation to share the Word of God with everyday contacts in your home, neighbourhood and workplace.
The workshop runs for 3 days, Thursday evening 20th April to Sunday afternoon 24th, with lunch and dinner provided, and full time attendance is required; if you can’t be there for the full program, consider registering for the Kingaroy workshop (details here ). The cost is $160 per person or $270 for a couple, but there is a discount of $20 per person for registrations received before 21st March. Registrations close on 14th April.
