Covid 19 response from Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia

Despite the current lockdown in Victoria, and restrictions in other states, we are still open for business, though the main office is closed for the time being. Our office staff have been sent home but will continue working from there.  Phone calls to the office will be redirected to someone who can help, and all donations will continue to be directed to the appropriate people.

Wycliffe Australia remains committed to finding ways to reach the poorest and most marginalized communities in the world with the gospel message.  God’s mandate to ‘go and make disciples of all the nations’ has not changed – only how that might be done at this time has changed.

For our translation teams that have stayed with their language groups around the world: we will ensure that they continue to be supported in every way possible.  For those that have returned because of the virus: we are helping them to continue their work virtually.  For our Australian based members: we will continue to be advocates for the gospel message in every language.

We still need your prayer and financial support during these times.

Thanks for your patience...

Waiting is hard, isn't it. But imagine waiting 2000 years for Scripture in your language! Thanks for your patience. And thanks for your generous support which will help bring the long wait to an end...
