Bible Storying workshops at Mt Tamborine, 2022
Choose between 2-5 June or 9-12 June
Have you ever tried to share the Word of God with a friend and found they weren’t interested?
Try telling them a story.
Everyone loves a story! But to be both faithful to God’s Word and effective for ministry, our stories need to be simple, accurate and memorable.
That’s where Storying the Bible comes in. In a 3-day live-in workshop
at Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast hinterland you will learn how to craft, polish, tell and teach simple, accurate, memorable Bible stories, and lead a discussion on a passage of Scripture – even with someone who has never read the Bible. These workshops are hosted by the Mt Tamborine Convention, with the training provided by Wycliffe Australia Story the Bible teams. Choose between two alternative dates: Thursday evening 2 June to Sunday afternoon 5 June 2022, OR Thursday evening 9 June to Sunday afternoon 12 June 2022. Both will be held at Camp Tamborine, 32 Keswick Road, Tamborine Mountain. NB: Each workshop is limited to 24 participants; First come, first served! ‘…Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on…’ —Deut 4:9 (NLT)
20 May 2022
Unfortunately the Story the Bible workshops planned to be held at Mt Tamborine Convention Centre in June have had to be cancelled, as a result of insufficient registrations. Wycliffe is planning an alternative workshop at Maleny on the first weekend in October – keep an eye on the Wycliffe website for details.
