Ready, Set … Thrive! is one of three orientation workshops for new Wycliffe Australia members. It is also open to all Wycliffe Australia staff as a refresher.

Wycliffe Australia members take personal responsibility to maintain their spiritual health and relationships while serving. The topics covered in Ready, Set … Thrive! aim to introduce disciplines that will equip cross-cultural mission workers to be proactively engaged in a successful ministry.

Course Topics

• Communication and conflict resolution
• Spiritual vitality
• Adaptation (transitions, stress, grief, theology of suffering)
• Living in community
• Working in cross-cultural teams

The workshop will be held at the Wycliffe Australia National Centre, Kangaroo Ground (26 km from Melbourne CBD)

Course dates: 29 September to 3 October 2025

Cost: $100 (excluding accommodation)

The workshop cost includes breakfast, lunch and dinner from Monday breakfast until Friday lunch. It does not include the cost of accommodation. If you require accommodation for the workshop, please enquire here and mention that you will be coming for Ready, Set … Thrive.
