Bible Storying comes to Central Victoria!
Here is the opportunity you have been waiting for! Come and learn the five skills of biblical storytelling:
- crafting a biblically accurate story
- polishing it to make it easy to memorise
- telling it in a way that holds the attention
- teaching it so the hearers can pass it on
- leading a Bible study … without even holding a Bible!
The workshop will be held at the Bendigo Presbyterian Church (corner of Forest and Mackenzie Streets, Bendigo) in three sessions over the weekend of 22-24 July 2022, as follows:
- Friday 22 July, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Saturday 23 July, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Sunday 24 July, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Participants must plan to attend all workshop sessions.
In addition, participants will be welcome – and are encouraged – to attend the Celebration of Bible Translation dinner at the same venue from 5:30 – 9:00 pm, and to join a team to tell Bible stories in three churches on the Sunday morning.
