22. How does the Story the Bible training integrate with other aspects of the L2L program?

In fact, the STB training integrates with almost every other module within the L2L program.

A – Linguistics: Crafting an SAM (Simple + Accurate + Memorable) Bible story requires linguistics skills. So the STB training integrates with the SILA Module (Jan/Feb 2027);

B – TESOL: In the TESOL training students learn teaching skills and gain confidence in speaking in public. Both are important in Story the Bible training;

C – Bible: When crafting a Bible story, students often study the Scriptures at a deeper level than they are accustomed to doing. This gives them a greater insight into the meaning of Scripture;

D – Gospel Drama: Bible storytelling is at the heart of Gospel Drama. Most Bible stories crafted in an STB workshop are 2-3 minutes long. A Gospel Drama is a non-stop Bible story with many speakers that continues uninterrupted for up to 90 minutes; and

E – Israel Study Tour. During the K2K Israel Study Tour L2L participants will visit over 80 historical locations in Israel. At each site L2L participants will tell the Bible stories relevant to the history of that site. This preparation will happen throughout the year.
