20. Why do Wycliffe L2L students need to become Wycliffe Affiliates?

The Australian Government requires that those who volunteer to serve Charitable Organisations in any capacity must be formally accepted as Volunteers or Affiliates of that organisation. This volunteer process requires paperwork, including a Blue Card (or Green Card), WWCC (Working With Children Check), police check etc. L2L students serve in many capacities during their L2L Journey, therefore, becoming a Wycliffe Affiliate is mandatory.
