The Craig Family have always had a heart to serve and have found great joy in practically and pastorally caring for their friends, family, church and local community. As a family they have been involved in several short-term work party trips to Greece and Cairns, with Dan also serving in Uganda, Darwin and Vanuatu.

With Dan’s background in construction, Joanna’s in nursing and operational management and both their experience in church leadership and serving in teams they are excited to see how God will use both their practical and spiritual gifts in serving in a fulltime capacity with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

They have a deep desire to serve those who are currently serving and are looking forward to partnering with people as they take up the role of Team Leaders at Wycliffe’s retreat centre at Tree Tops Lodge in Cairns. Pouring their heart and energy into both the place and the people, they are keen to not just run an accommodation centre but to create spaces to engage and support missionaries at their point of need, providing opportunities for them to be refreshed and renewed as they encounter God.
