Kirk and Christine Franklin have been serving full time with Wycliffe for over 40 years. Kirk is an MK (missionary kid) born and raised in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Christine grew up in New South Wales and later taught missionary kids in PNG, which is where they first met. Kirk held leadership roles with Wycliffe Australia from 1991-2007.

Kirk was the Executive Director of the Wycliffe Global Alliance from 2008-2020, completing his term of service in June 2020. He is now involved in research, publishing, training, and teaching in missional leadership, governance, and missiology for the Bible translation movement and other like-minded ministries through a cooperative agreement between Wycliffe Australia and the Melbourne School of Theology, Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, and the Wycliffe Global Alliance. Christine assists new Wycliffe people with conversational English. Kirk and Christine have three adult children and three grandsons.
