Anke, a physiotherapist, and Patrick, a general practitioner, have been passionate about medical mission work in Papua New Guinea ever since they visited the country some years ago. Back then they experienced first-hand how living your faith and serving the Lord can transform many lives. They have joined Wycliffe Australia to put their skills to good use at SIL’s medical centre in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea. They will be able to deliver much needed medical care to SIL expatriate and local staff as well as Papua New Guineans from the surrounding area who would otherwise receive little or no medical attention. Together with their two boys Jeremy and Benjamin, they are aiming to arrive overseas in the second half of 2019.
