Bookstore Manager

The Wycliffe bookstore is a resource used mainly by the staff at the National Centre at Kangaroo Ground, as well as interstate staff and the general public when books are requested. The manager role can be learned on-the-job alongside the current manager.
The work happens at the National Centre, so a manager who lives locally would be ideal.
Responsibilities:
• Order books, mostly Wycliffe books
• Order cards, stationery and gifts
• Send books out when requested
• Replenish stock when required
• Occasionally collect books for staff to take to meetings
• Do stocktake at the end of the year
Qualifications:
• Experience in a bookshop is helpful but not essential
• A knowledge of Wycliffe Bible Translators
• A desire to promote Bible translation through the sale of books
• A love for serving people
• Some computer skills for emailing, ordering cards etc. online, and for stocktaking
Orientation and Training:
• Orientation workshops, held at our National Centre in Kangaroo Ground, Victoria
• On-the-job training will be provided
