IT Coordinator
LONG TERM | SOUTH ASIA
We are looking for an IT Coordinator to assist those who are already supporting Bible translation and language development through IT. We need someone to provide good communication, coordinate activities, and help deliver IT services to those who work in the South Asia and Islands Asia regions of SIL. This is a part-time, 2-3 year position.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support and training for Business Applications
• Promote IT best practices and policies
• Promote appropriate online collaboration tools
• Manage the South & Islands Asia Zoom room
• Promote and support global IT Projects
• Research and recommend appropriate hardware, software, and/or applications, when requested
• Set goals for strategic planning
• Ensure staff are aware of opportunities to receive training to help them accomplish their work
• Provide appropriate email support
• Connect with IT staff to understand their context and challenges
• Participate regularly in meetings with IT teams
