Sandwich makers

I attended a conference of charity leaders last month. Half an afternoon was spent making sandwiches for distribution to Aussie school children whose families could not afford the cost of lunch. We were humbled by the story of how the charity grew from one person in their own kitchen to operating nationally.

All 150 of us at the conference were also proud to see trolleys of sandwiches being rolled out the door. We had each contributed towards the sandwiches by buttering the bread, adding cheese, or wrapping them up. Those were ‘our’ sandwiches!

Wycliffe Relief and Development Foundation (WRDF) projects support poor and vulnerable people groups.
