The Ambonese Malay New Testament was officially launched in September 2022! Lilian and David are Bible translation facilitators for the Ambonese Malay language, Lilian since 2010 and David since 2017.

After waiting out the pandemic in Australia, David, Lilian and their two boys, Joshua (8 years) and Zack (6 years), rejoined the translation team in 2023 for the next exciting stage of Bible translation ministry in Ambon. The translation team is working on selections from the Old Testament and the Scripture engagement team is helping local churches to use the Ambonese New Testament and other translated resources in their ministry.

David and Lilian are motivated in their work by countless stories of people who hear God's Word with new clarity when it has been translated into their mother tongue.
