Wycliffe Australia is part of Wycliffe Global Alliance, a community of more than 100 diverse organisations and networks serving together in Bible translation movements around the world. Hundreds of millions of people still do not have God’s Word in the language they understand best. The Alliance’s vision is to see individuals, communities and nations transformed through God’s love and Word expressed in their languages and cultures.
Alliance Organisations have a common commitment, believing all peoples should have access to God’s Word in their preferred languages and formats.
The Alliance serves as a part of the worldwide Church and the global missions community, seeking to glorify God through participation in his mission of redemption, reconciliation and restoration. Multicultural by nature, the Alliance also continues to grow in its intercultural attitudes and behaviours.
Alliance Organisations are committed to serving together, demonstrating the unity and diversity of the Body of Christ and exemplifying relationships that demonstrate love and respect.

SILA Assist (SILAA) was created to provide relief and development help in locations where SIL Australia or its partners are engaged. Consistent with the heritage of SILA, the particular focus of SILA Assist is in language areas like literacy and basic multilingual education. Many minority language communities are severely disadvantaged because they cannot read or write, even in their own language. SILA Assist works with local partners to assist with personnel and finances to help overcome this burden.
Established by Wycliffe in 1996, Bethel Funerals began as a way to generate funds for missions while ministering to grieving families. To date, Bethel have put back over $2,000,000 to support mission workers and organisations whilst ministering to over 9,000 families. As a not-for-profit company they are also able to actively invest part of their professional services fee back into mission, humanitarian and community work. So when you use Bethel, not only will the funeral service honour your loved one, but they will also be honoured with a legacy that can make a real contribution. A legacy that leaves behind more than memories.
You may wish to consider pre-paying your funeral. Make an appointment to meet with one of Bethel’s consultants and they will help you arrange your funeral service, recording how you would like to be remembered. Doing this can help ease the emotional and financial burden on your family when the time does come. Pre-paying a funeral locks in your service at today’s prices, so your family will have no more to pay at the time.
Give one of Bethel’s friendly consultants a call to discuss the various options offered.
