Anne grew up in Wagga Wagga and on the Central Coast in NSW. As the daughter of a Presbyterian minister, she served in church music and children’s ministry from a young age. In later years, she also served in university ministry and taught English to migrants at church.
Anne studied linguistics and ESL teaching at university. She then worked in Sydney as an English teacher to international students before completing a degree at the Sydney Missionary and Bible College.
At eight years old, God placed in Anne’s heart a passion for Bible translation when a Wycliffe member spoke at her Sunday School about her work in PNG. Anne is studying the skills necessary for Bible translation at SILA in Kangaroo Ground this year and is praying for God to guide her to his choice of a people group to serve.
