Jarod and Jess grew up in Western Australia and met at Trinity Theological College in Perth in 2018, where they both developed a love of languages in Greek class. This along with the conviction that all people need to hear the Word of God, prompted them to work towards becoming members of Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia when they finished college.
After some delays, including getting married, a global pandemic, and having a child, Jarod and Jess became members of Wycliffe in 2024 and will join the team at the National Office in Kangaroo Ground, Melbourne. Jarod is planning to work in administration, specifically data management and systems development. Jess is planning to spend most of her time as a mother, with a part time role in supporting and caring for current members. They are looking forward to contributing to the Bible translation movement with their special skills and training.
