Luke and Monica joined Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia in 2007. They spent one year in Papua New Guinea with their four children where Luke helped in the aviation department.

On returning to Australia Luke spent time with several training organisations, gaining valuable experience in the training sector. This led to a position with Mission Aviation Fellowship International, based in Cairns Queensland, as the Apprentice Training Co-ordinator, to support apprentice training both in Australia and internationally.

Monica began her work with Wycliffe Member Care in 2010, caring for Wycliffe members in Australia's Northern Territory and Indonesia. In their three years in Cairns both Monica and Luke enjoyed further opportunities for member care support to missionaries coming and going to the field for various reasons.

They returned to Victoria in 2019, joining the Member Care team at Kangaroo Ground, where they used their personal experiences to bless and serve other Wycliffe Australia Members serving on the field.

Due to personal and family health challenges Monica resigned from her position as Member Care Coordinator at the end of 2023. At this stage Luke plans to continue as a volunteer supporting the Personnel Department as he is able.
