Paul and Nicola Mangohig serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia in Vanuatu, working with the Akei language community on Espiritu Santo. Their desire is to make God’s Word accessible in people’s heart language. They have three children: Joey, Katarina, and Elisha, who is now with Jesus.

Paul grew up in the Philippines and, later, Darwin. He worked as a civil engineer, and then followed God’s call into ministry, serving as a youth pastor in Melbourne while completing his Master of Divinity. Nicola grew up in Melbourne, enjoying sports and the beach. After mission trips to the Philippines and completing a degree in Sports Management, she served as a mission operations manager. She met Paul at theological college, married him in 2017, and completed a Master of Ministry in 2019.

Together, they are passionate about Bible translation and seeing communities know Jesus. Outside of ministry, Paul is on the hunt for the world’s best fried chicken, Nicola loves baking, cooking, and experimenting with cuisines for Vanuatu, and, as a family, they enjoy reading, exploring, and going on adventures together.
