We are Paul and Nicola, along with Joseph and Katarina, Mangohig (aka ‘the Mangos’).
We came to love God in our early 20s and explored ways to serve him during our time at Bible College. Language learning comes easily for Paul so he sought to find an organisation that focuses on languages. Nicola searched for an organisation that places value on sharing God's Word and making it known. It was not a difficult decision, we were both thinking, ‘Woah, Wycliffe!’
After we married in November 2017, we continued our theological training at MST (Melbourne School of Theology) and linguistic training at SILA (Summer Institute of Linguistics Australia). In 2020, we moved to Darwin and also became members of Wycliffe Australia.
In 2023, we will be moving to Vanuatu to be involved in Bible translation and Scripture engagement. Did you know that Vanuatu has over 80 islands with communities speaking more than 110 languages? It is known as the most linguistically diverse nation in the world. We would love you to partner with us as we help bring God’s Word to some of the 55 language communities who are still waiting for Scripture in a language that speaks to their hearts.
