With a background in primary education, university ministry and member care, Rachel has experience working in Australia and Thailand. These experiences grew her vision for a space for Christian cross-cultural workers and their families to come and receive support, encouragement, counselling and rest. Her heart leapt when she heard about The Red Sea Counselling and Member Care Centre opening in Cairns!

The Red Sea Centre is strategically located near Tree Tops Lodge, Cairns, where many Wycliffe, MAF, and other cross-cultural workers stay when they return to Australia or travel from Pacific nations for respite or medical care.

Rachel will be moving to Cairns in 2023 to work at The Red Sea in an administrative role. Her prayer is that God will use The Red Sea to bless and strengthen those on the field as they share the Good News and make God's Word accessible to all peoples.
