BIBLE TRANSLATION

LITERACY

Tim and Soo were born in South Korea. Tim spent his high school years in New Zealand, and moved to Sydney in the year 2000.

Soo came to Sydney in 2005 to study English, where she met Tim at the local church and got married the year after.

Since then they have had four children – Samuel in 2006, Raina in 2012, Sol in 2014, and Uri in 2015.

Tim has always been passionate about languages and linguistics, having studied it up to Master’s level at Sydney Uni. When he heard about Bible translation ministry he realised - what better way to pursue his passion and God’s kingdom at the same time?

Soo is interested in literacy training, and has also been working in childcare for a number of years.

They hope to be assigned to Papua New Guinea but until then, are raising their partnership team.
