IT/COMMUNICATIONS

In cultures where oral learning is the norm, it’s important to make God’s truths available in various formats. For this reason, we need people to produce audio and video resources. If you have a background or interest in technology, your skills could be used to help Australian Indigenous communities engage with God’s Word in the languages and formats they understand the best. In this role, you will be working alongside AuSIL members and local translators to create Bible recordings and Scripture engagement resources.

Responsibilities:

  • audio and/or video recording
  • editing
  • mastering
  • manufacturing (both for music and Scripture recordings)
  • working on animations

Qualifications:

  • audio and/or video technical skills required for the role

Training:

  • four weeks’ language and culture training called Launch
  • on-field cultural orientation
  • orientation workshops, held at our National Centre in Kangaroo Ground, Victoria
