Responsibilities:

• appropriately plan for and carry out instruction of grade or age level, using the curriculum and/or textbook guides and a variety of materials and media
• prepare, administer and correct tests in accordance with school standards and procedures
• develop and maintain student records of attendance and grades as required by the school
• understand the needs and empathise with children growing up in cross-cultural situations, providing supportive activities and Christian counsel
• communicate effectively to a class comprising children from a variety of nationalities
• prepare quarterly student progress reports
• discuss pupils’ academic and behavioural performance with parents, recommending action when necessary
• assist in pupil extra-curricular activities, inspiring and encouraging the physical, mental and spiritual development of pupils to greatest potential

Qualifications:

• appropriate teaching qualifications and experience
• some biblical training would be desirable but not required for the position
