We need people to help with the typesetting and graphic design needs of our partner translation organisation, the Australian Society for Indigenous Languages (AuSIL). In their work in the Northern Territory, they need people to typeset translated Scriptures, and design books and promotional material. (Note that this is not a paid position, anyone in this role would be expected to have a team of partners who pray and provide financial support.)

Responsibilities:

• typeset translated Scriptures
• design book covers
• design music labels
• design language resources
• design promotional material

Qualifications:

• graphic design training
• ability to use typesetting software or willingness to learn

Training:

• four weeks’ language and culture training called Launch
• on-field cultural orientation
• orientation workshops, held at our National Centre in Kangaroo Ground, Victoria
