Lachlan has a passion to see God's church strengthened through training and translation. During the past 20 years working in IT, he has also gained the training and qualifications necessary to help others have access to God's Word and train them in bringing it to others. Lachlan has completed an undergraduate degree with Moore Theological College, and will shortly complete postgraduate study, along with further study at SILA in linguistics.

Lachlan will be working to provide training and Bible translation in Northern Australia. Nungalinya College in Darwin has invited Lachlan to join them in teaching translation to First Nations people from remote communities. When they have completed portions of the training, he will then travel out to their communities to initiate translation projects and help with projects that are already underway.
