SCRIPTURE ENGAGEMENT

TRAINING

Ross and Lyndal have been members of Wycliffe Australia since 1982, initially working as Bible translation advisors in PNG. After completing a translation they spent three years in Australia settling their sons, then went to Vanuatu to serve as directors of the SIL team there for 10+ years. Then for the next three years they continued as trainers for ni-Vanuatu Bible translation and Scripture engagement personnel as well as working in Scripture engagement themselves, mostly for a couple of language groups on Epi Island.

The Webbs have also designed a critical thinking and Bible understanding course which they continue to develop, share with others and mentor local trainers, remotely and in Vanuatu when they travel there. They are also part of the Vanuatu admin team helping teams as much as possible from their base in Sydney, Australia.

The Webbs have two sons, Christopher and Paul, who have in turn, with their wives Karen and Beth, produced 8 grandchildren among them, while working as pastors in different cross-cultural settings in Australia.
